Happy Belated Halloween

Okay, I know Halloween was like forever ago, but life has been very busy here. So here are my Halloween pictures. For Halloween, we were only doing it for the kinder kids. There were theme rooms, which was great because Kalee and I spent the entire morning doing face painting.

This is my lovely costume. Anywhere or everywhere in Korea there are women who dress like this and promote a specific product. They always wear these gloves and the leg warmers that I have on.

This is my classroom all done up for Halloween. I love having
my ownclassroom. Last year, Halloween stuff was difficult to find.
Luckily, just before I left, the dollar store was just starting to
sell Halloween stuff. This was one of the items I purchased.
Something like that here would have cost me around $5 to $10.

Watch Out or the spider will get you!!!

This is the cemetery that I did with my kids. We all brainstormed together, me more then them, and came up with good ways to die. It was a lot of fun
.

This is my friend, Beth's classroom,
whose them was the Three Witches
from
Macbeth. It was turned out really well.

This is a pic of all the teachers - most of us dressed up.
Back Row (LtoR): Kalee (scarecrow), Peter, Jason,
I
an (
Frankenstein)
Front Row: Andrea, Me, Beth (vampire), Sharlane
(pirate),
Julie (Cat - meow) and Ben

Here are my kid's and the ways they died last Halloween.

Carol, who is Belle and can be a real
princess when she wants to be.

How she died:
An elephant thought she was a peanut and ate her.

James - Harry Potter

How he died:
He was a King Cobra’s dinner.

To explain this what a King Cobra is - the kids make a cobra with their hands and they do it
incessantly, especially James. So they thought this was really funny when I suggested it.

Jason - my little devil,
who is a perfect angel in class.

How he died:
My teacher threw me out the window.

Jenny, she is sleeping beauty.
She looked so beautiful, I was overwhelmed.

How she died:
She was eaten by a Venus Fly Trap.

Lina was a princess.

How she died:
She fell into the toilet and drowned.

Woo-Jae was a bat - I had to plead with him to put the hood on.

How he died:
A piano fell on his head.

Theresa, one of the more recent
additions to my class, was a flamingo.

How she died:
She fell off a ladder.

Yeseul was a witch.

How she died:
My dad pushed me into the water and a crocodile ate me.

Costume photos that are MIA:

Ryan who was a character from Digemon or Pokemon died as a result of a
chicken pushing him off a ladder.

Sonia, who was Snow White, died as a result of
a rabbit thinking she was a carrot and it ate her.

So that was a picture by picture account of Halloween. The kids really enjoyed it and so did the teacher's. It was the first and only Monday I think I ever enjoyed getting up for.
