My Apartment and School
So I know this has taken me forever to do, but I just wanted to get settled in and organized. So here is what my apartment looks like and my school.
This is my apartment building on
the biggest hill and either way you
walk up you have to go up it.
This is what you are greeted to when you walk in my front door. This is my lovely kitchen.
This is everything set up - wardrobe, desk, computer, printer and tv/vcr. I am so lucky that the wardrobe fit behind the door. Just in front of the wardrobe
is the fridge - it doesn't fit in the kitchen.
This is my bathroom. I learned really quick not to leave my toilet paper in there while I was having a shower.
This is another view of my room. You can see the balconey - this is where
I store my luggage and do my laundry. Thanks mom for sewing me the sheet,
it really came in handy.
As most of you know, this is my second time in Korea. These next pictures are those from my old apartment.
UGLY kitchen
Dark Living Room
This is the kitchen in my old place and the UGLY living room before we (Sarah and I) painted it.
This is the lovely step-in bathroom that I almost killed myself getting out of in the morning because I was still half asleep and this is my lovely room. I don't mind the layout in my new apartment even though I do have a fridge in what is technically my room. My apartment that I am in now is way brighter and I am getting used to not having a roommate.
These next pictures are of my school.
This is my school - LCI
Kid's Club.
We have the 5th,
6th and 7th
floors including
the roof.
Up on the roof,
there is a kiddie
pool and a jungle gym.
This is the what you see when you walk into the school
on the 5th floor. That is Lisa at the front desk.
This is all the teachers in the staff room.
We are all sitting at our desks.
This is the other end of the staff room where all the Korean staff works.
That is Nicole, she is the best. She started just after Beth and I and she
is really on the ball.
This is the media room where all the kids hang out after lunch.
Well, much to my dismay, I don't have a picture of my class room. I have it all decorated for Halloween and I will post some pictures of Halloween, including my classroom.
